Accreditation and Affiliations

BAMSI is committed to the delivery of quality education that meets the needs of its students and recognizes the critical role and contribution of quality improvement in this process. The Institute is also committed to a strategic review of its operations and program offerings and welcomes the objective analysis of its quality processes through external evaluation.

As part of the Institute’s quality assurance philosophy, we embrace the quality standards and requirements set by The National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of the Bahamas (NAECOB), a statutory body established under the National Accreditation and Equivalency Council ACT of the Bahamas on 4th October 2006; assented 29th December 2006 and came into force 28th February, 2007. NAECOB is responsible for registering and accrediting post-secondary and tertiary education institutions in the Bahamas.

The Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute is proud to be a registered Institution with NAECOB and having its programs approved by the same.

The Institute is also in the process of preparing to seek international accreditation for several of its programs.
